Proud news comes from the world of Indonesian higher education. A student from Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), Arsyad Fillah Ramadhan, has successfully achieved an international milestone at the International Student Summit held in Malaysia.
Arsyad, a student of the History Education Study Program at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Political Science (FISIP), successfully brought home a bronze medal. He earned this award after competing in the Tourism and Culture sub-theme.
This success demonstrates that Indonesian students are capable of competing with participants from various other countries. In the event, participants were challenged to present creative and innovative ideas related to the development of the tourism sector and the preservation of culture amidst global challenges.
Arsyad's achievement is expected to serve as motivation for other students in Indonesia to continue creating and to have the courage to perform on the international stage. In addition to bringing honor to the university, this achievement also serves as proof of the quality of history education in Indonesia, which is capable of adapting to contemporary issues.
Looking ahead, the university hopes that more students will participate in similar activities. The experience of competing abroad not only provides awards but also broadens the horizons and networks for Indonesian students in the future.
