Attorney General's Office Searches National Nutrition Agency Office Following Dadan Hindayana's Removal
The Attorney General's Office (Kejagung) conducted a search at the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) office in Jakarta on Wednesday (03/06). This action has drawn public attention as it was carried out shortly after President Prabowo Subianto removed Dadan Hindayana from his position as Head of the BGN.
The Attorney General's Office has confirmed the search to the media. However, to date, authorities have not provided a detailed explanation regarding the legal grounds or the specific case behind this action. During the process, several employees were reportedly outside the building to provide space for officers to conduct the inspection.
Dadan Hindayana previously served as the leader of this relatively newly formed institution. The National Nutrition Agency itself holds a very strategic role in implementing government health programs, particularly those related to nutritional improvement and addressing public health issues across Indonesia.
This case is still in the early stages of investigation by the authorities. The public and the media are now awaiting further official statements from both the Attorney General's Office and the palace to determine whether this search is directly related to Dadan's removal or if there are other suspected violations.
