Unismuh Makassar Becomes the Hub for Muhammadiyah Cadre Development in Eastern Indonesia

Universitas Muhammadiyah (Unismuh) Makassar has now officially become a central hub or key node for Muhammadiyah organizational cadre development activities in the Eastern Indonesia region. This was marked by the opening of the Muhammadiyah National Instructor Training (PINAS) event held on the campus.

During the opening ceremony, the Vice Chairman of the Council for Cadre Development and Human Resources (MPKSDI) of the Muhammadiyah Central Board, Dr. Faiz Rafdhi, M.Kom., was present to provide guidance. He emphasized that the role of instructors is vital in maintaining the sustainability of the organization.

Dr. Faiz Rafdhi explained that instructors hold a strategic position in the chain of Muhammadiyah cadre development. They are responsible for guiding and shaping the character of cadres to ensure they remain aligned with the organization's vision and mission for the future.

This PINAS activity is expected to improve the quality of instructors throughout Indonesia, particularly in the Eastern Indonesia region. Through structured training, it is hoped that new, competent cadres will emerge who are ready to contribute to society and the nation.

In closing, the selection of Unismuh Makassar as the location for the event demonstrates the central organization's trust in the university's capacity to support human resource development. This step is part of Muhammadiyah's ongoing efforts to strengthen its cadre development network at the national level.
