Pupuk Indonesia Encourages the Younger Generation to Become Modern Farmers Through Technology
PT Pupuk Indonesia is currently implementing a strategic program to attract the interest of the younger generation to enter the agricultural sector. The company recognizes that the regeneration of farmers is crucial for maintaining national food security in the future.
In this effort, Pupuk Indonesia is introducing the use of modern technology in farming activities. They provide training on the use of digital tools, automated irrigation systems, and crop monitoring applications that can simplify the work of farmers in the field.
This program does not only focus on how to plant, but also provides education regarding agricultural business management. With technology, crop yields are expected to be maximized and distribution processes to become more efficient for young farmers.
Pupuk Indonesia hopes that this step can change the public perception that farming is an old-fashioned job. Instead, agriculture is now positioned as an innovative and promising sector that is highly dependent on technological development.
Through this initiative, the company aims to create a more advanced agricultural ecosystem in Indonesia. It is hoped that many competent young farmers will emerge to lead the national food sector in the future.
