Indonesia and India Establish Cooperation to Develop Digital Talent
Indonesian Minister of Manpower, Yassierli, has just announced a strategic cooperation plan with India. The main focus of this collaboration is the development of digital talent and the mastery of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for workers in Indonesia.
This step was taken in response to the rapidly changing world of work due to technological advancements. The Indonesian government recognizes that digital skills have become an urgent necessity so that the local workforce can compete in an increasingly modern global market.
India was chosen as a partner because the country is known for its rapid progress in the information technology industry and software development. Through this partnership, Indonesia hopes to adopt best practices in skills training and accelerate the digital transformation process domestically.
In addition to the focus on AI, this cooperation also includes 'upskilling' programs for workers. The goal is for Indonesian workers to possess expertise that is relevant to the needs of future technology-based industries.
This program is expected to have a positive impact on the Indonesian economy in the long term. By having a workforce skilled in the digital field, Indonesia will be better prepared to face the challenges of the digital economy era and increase the nation's competitiveness on the international stage.
