CKG Program Reaches 108 Million Citizens, 66 Regional Hospitals Upgraded
The Indonesian government continues to demonstrate its commitment to expanding equitable access to healthcare services for all citizens. In a recent report, the Free Health Check (CKG) program is said to have provided benefits to 108 million residents across various regions of Indonesia.
In addition to expanding the reach of beneficiaries, the government is also focusing on improving healthcare facilities at the regional level. A total of 66 regional hospitals have received upgrades to their facilities and infrastructure to ensure better service for patients.
This step is part of the government's effort to strengthen the national health system. With the improvement of facilities in regional hospitals, it is hoped that the public will no longer need to travel long distances to big cities to receive proper medical treatment.
President Prabowo Subianto emphasized that affordable and quality healthcare access is a fundamental right of every citizen. This program is expected to continue and reach more people in need in remote areas of the country.
Looking ahead, the government plans to continuously evaluate the effectiveness of this program. The main focus remains on the equitable distribution of healthcare access so that medical service standards throughout Indonesia become more uniform and easily accessible to all levels of society.
