Government Targets 48 Million Families Registered in Digital Social Assistance System
The Indonesian government is currently working to accelerate the digitalization of social assistance (bansos) distribution for the public. The main target is to ensure that 48 million families are registered in the Digital Social Protection (Perlinsos) system by 2026 at the latest.
This step is being taken to simplify public access to government assistance. By using a digital system, the data collection and distribution process is expected to be faster, more targeted, and more transparent compared to the manual system used previously.
In addition to simplifying access for beneficiaries, this Digital Perlinsos system also aims to improve poverty data in Indonesia. The government wants to ensure that the assistance provided truly reaches the families most in need and reduces the risk of errors in distribution.
This program is part of the government's major effort to carry out digital transformation in the public service sector. With a completion target before 2027, the government hopes that all social assistance administrative processes can be better integrated across all regions of Indonesia.
In conclusion, this digitalization of social assistance is expected to increase the efficiency of the government's work in serving the public. The public is encouraged to immediately follow the data collection process so they can enjoy easier access to social assistance through this new system.
