AI Technology Helps Indonesian Healthcare Workers Serve More Patients
The latest report from the Philips Future Health Index 2026 shows positive developments in Indonesia's health sector. The use of artificial intelligence (AI) is now starting to have a tangible impact on medical personnel in the country.
According to the data, 69 percent of healthcare workers in Indonesia claim to be able to serve a larger number of patients thanks to the help of AI technology. This increase in efficiency helps hospitals and clinics manage patient queues that often pile up every day.
However, the report also highlights that the adoption of this technology still faces several obstacles. Although the benefits are already visible, the readiness of infrastructure and the skills of medical personnel in operating AI systems remain major challenges that must be addressed immediately.
Looking ahead, the integration of digital technology is expected to continue to develop to support the national health system. The government and health institutions are expected to work together to improve training and supporting facilities so that the benefits of AI can be felt evenly by all Indonesian people.
