Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia: Government Programs Must Not Consider Political Affiliation
Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Bahlil Lahadalia, issued an important statement regarding the implementation of government programs in Indonesia. During his visit to a Solar Power Plant (PLTS) project in Bali, he emphasized that national development must be carried out equitably, regardless of political background.
According to Bahlil, services to the community and the implementation of national development programs must not be limited by differences in political affiliation or the interests of any particular party. He stressed that the government's primary focus is the welfare of the people and the advancement of infrastructure throughout all regions of Indonesia.
On that occasion, Bahlil also highlighted the importance of synergy between the central and regional governments in executing national strategic projects. He expressed his hope that every policy implemented could be felt by all levels of society in a fair and transparent manner.
This statement comes amidst the government's efforts to continue accelerating the energy transition through the development of renewable energy, such as the PLTS project in Bali. This project is expected to support the government's target of achieving national energy independence that is more environmentally friendly.
