Garut Regent Officially Inaugurates Paskibraka Members for 2026
The Garut Regency Government has officially inaugurated the members of the National Flag Hoisting Troop (Paskibraka) who will serve during the 2026 Independence Day celebrations. This inauguration ceremony was led directly by the Regent of Garut in a solemn event attended by parents, coaches, and local regional officials.
The selected Paskibraka members have gone through a very rigorous selection process from various schools throughout the Garut Regency area. They underwent physical and mental training for several months to ensure their readiness to carry out this important state duty.
In his remarks, the Regent of Garut expressed his high appreciation to all Paskibraka members for the dedication and hard work they have shown during the training period. He emphasized that being a Paskibraka member is not just a task of hoisting the flag, but a great honor that reflects a love for the homeland.
In addition to training discipline, this Paskibraka program also aims to shape the character of the younger generation, fostering leadership qualities and a high sense of nationalism. The students are expected to be role models for their peers in terms of positive behavior and a spirit of learning.
The inauguration ceremony concluded with the symbolic pinning of badges on representatives of the Paskibraka members. With the completion of this procession, the Garut Regency Paskibraka members are now ready to carry out their primary duties at the upcoming Republic of Indonesia Independence Day commemorative ceremony.
