Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta Sends Student Delegation to the Indonesian Bridge Competition
Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) has officially sent off its student team to participate in prestigious events, namely the Indonesian Bridge Competition (KJI) and Abdidaya Ormawa 2026. This send-off was conducted as a form of the university's full support for the innovation and creativity of its students in the fields of engineering and community service.
The Indonesian Bridge Competition is an annual event that challenges students to design and build bridge models with strong, efficient, and innovative structures. Through this competition, students are expected to be able to apply the theories they have learned in class to real-world practice in the field.
In addition to KJI, the UMS delegation will also participate in Abdidaya Ormawa. This program focuses on the development of student organizations in conducting community service. This activity aims to provide a positive impact on the surrounding environment through various social projects planned by the students.
The university hopes that the students' participation in these competitions can improve their teamwork and problem-solving skills. Furthermore, this experience is expected to be a valuable asset for the students before they enter the professional workforce in the future.
The departure of these delegates demonstrates UMS's commitment to supporting student achievement at the national level. The entire UMS academic community provides full support so that the team can deliver the best results and bring honor to the university in these competitions.
