Government Ensures BPJS Kesehatan Premiums Will Not Change Until 2026
The Indonesian government has officially announced that the premium rates for the National Health Insurance (JKN) program managed by BPJS Kesehatan will not undergo any changes until 2026. This decision was made to maintain the economic stability of the public amidst a dynamic situation.
This policy applies to all participant categories, ranging from class 1 and class 2 to class 3. Furthermore, the regulations concerning premiums for Contribution Assistance Recipients (PBI) and Wage Earner Workers (PPU) will also continue to refer to the existing Presidential Regulations (Perpres).
The decision not to increase premiums aims to ensure that public access to healthcare services remains affordable. The government is committed to continuously maintaining the sustainability of the JKN program so that it can provide maximum benefits for all Indonesian people without burdening the participants' finances.
The public is urged to continue making premium payments regularly according to their respective membership categories. Further information regarding premium details can be accessed through official BPJS Kesehatan channels or the Mobile JKN application.
With this certainty, it is hoped that the public will not need to worry about an increase in health insurance costs in the near future. The government will continue to conduct periodic evaluations to ensure that healthcare services remain well-run and efficient.
