Andina Narang Pushes for Fair Access for Dayak Sons and Daughters to Become TNI Soldiers
Member of the House of Representatives (DPR) of the Republic of Indonesia, Andina Narang, is giving special attention to the career opportunities for the younger generation in Kalimantan, particularly the Dayak community. She emphasized that Dayak sons and daughters have equal rights to fair access in the selection process to become soldiers of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI).
According to Andina, the involvement of local youth in state defense institutions is crucial. She believes that the younger Dayak generation possesses the potential, physical strength, and high spirit of service required to safeguard the sovereignty of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).
However, Andina highlighted geographical and administrative challenges that often hinder children in remote areas from participating in TNI selections. Therefore, she encourages relevant parties to simplify access to information and the registration process to make it more inclusive for communities in the interior regions of Kalimantan.
Furthermore, she emphasized the importance of early guidance for prospective applicants. With proper socialization and training, it is hoped that Dayak sons and daughters can be better prepared, both physically and mentally, to face the rigorous selection stages.
In closing, Andina hopes that the synergy between local governments and the TNI can continue to be improved. This step is expected to create broader opportunities for the younger generation in all corners of Indonesia to serve the country through a military career.
