Indramayu Police Hold 'Friday Confessions' to Accommodate Ambulance Drivers' Aspirations
The Indramayu Resort Police (Polres) held their routine 'Friday Confessions' (Jumat Curhat) activity again this week. This program aims to strengthen the relationship between the police and the community, while also serving as a platform for residents to convey complaints and suggestions directly to the authorities.
In this meeting, the Indramayu Police specifically invited ambulance drivers operating in the region. The drivers were given the opportunity to discuss various obstacles they face while on duty on the road, particularly concerning traffic issues and emergency procedures in the field.
One of the main points discussed was the challenge of transporting patients in emergency conditions amidst heavy traffic. The ambulance drivers hope for better coordination with the police so that they can receive priority for safe and smooth passage for the sake of the patients being treated.
Responding to this input, the Indramayu Police expressed their commitment to continue supporting the noble duties of ambulance drivers. The police promised to provide education to road users so they better understand the importance of yielding to emergency vehicles in accordance with applicable traffic regulations.
It is hoped that this 'Friday Confessions' activity will continue as an effective means of communication between the police and various elements of society. Through such open dialogue, it is expected that a better situation of public security and order will be created in the Indramayu region.
