Indonesia's First Aircraft Carrier Prepares for Handover Process
The Indonesian government is currently making final preparations to receive the country's first aircraft carrier. This process marks an important step in strengthening Indonesia's naval fleet in the future.
One of the main activities currently underway is the repainting of the ship's hull. This activity aims to ensure the ship is in prime condition and looks neat before being officially used by the Indonesian side.
This ship is the result of a collaboration between the Government of Indonesia and the Government of Italy. The repainting is being carried out as part of standard preparation procedures before the ship officially changes hands.
Once the painting and other technical preparations are complete, the ship will be handed over immediately. The government hopes that the presence of this ship will enhance defense capabilities and surveillance of Indonesia's vast territorial waters.
The presence of this aircraft carrier marks a new chapter for national maritime power. The people of Indonesia are now awaiting the historic moment when the ship arrives and begins operating under the Red and White flag.
