59 Indonesian Health Workers Complete International-Level Epidemiology Training
A total of 59 health workers from various regions in Indonesia have just completed epidemiology training conducted in collaboration with the United States. This program aims to improve the capabilities of medical personnel in handling various public health issues in the country.
During the training, participants received in-depth material regarding disease outbreak investigation, surveillance systems, and health data analysis techniques. These skills are considered crucial for detecting the potential spread of infectious diseases more quickly and accurately.
This capacity building is part of the Indonesian government's efforts to strengthen the frontline of the national health system. With more skilled health workers, it is hoped that Indonesia will be able to respond to future health threats more effectively and based on data.
The graduates of this training will later be deployed to various regions to help strengthen health monitoring systems at the local level. This step is expected to improve the quality of health services for all Indonesian people equitably.
