Democrat Cadres' Environmental Action at Pura Rambut Siwi: Preserving Bali's Nature and Traditions
Hundreds of Democratic Party cadres held a social event titled an environmental action in the area of Pura Rambut Siwi, Jembrana, Bali. This activity was carried out as a form of concern for the preservation of nature in the area of the place of worship, which is one of the cultural icons on the Island of the Gods.
During the action, the cadres carried out cleaning activities around the temple area to maintain environmental cleanliness. In addition to cleaning up trash, they also planted dozens of ylang-ylang and cempaka flower seedlings in the area around the temple. These flowers are expected to later support the needs of religious ceremony facilities for the local community.
Besides tree planting, the event also featured a bird release into the wild. This step was taken as a symbol of maintaining ecosystem balance and preserving biodiversity in the environment around Pura Rambut Siwi.
This activity received positive appreciation from local residents and temple management. The action demonstrates that the involvement of political organizations is not limited to government affairs, but can also contribute directly to the preservation of the environment and local cultural traditions.
Through this activity, it is hoped that public awareness regarding the importance of maintaining cleanliness and environmental sustainability will continue to increase. Concrete actions like this serve as an example of how collaboration between communities and the public can have a positive impact on the surrounding environment.
