Indonesian Regional Representative Council (DPD RI) Encourages Education and Technology Cooperation with Russia
The Chairman of the Regional Representative Council (DPD) of the Republic of Indonesia, Sultan Najamudin, recently expressed his support for strengthening cooperation in the field of education with Russia. This step is taken as an effort to improve the quality of Indonesia's human resources through the exchange of knowledge and technology.
The main focus of this cooperation covers several strategic areas, namely science, technology, and robotics. The Indonesian government hopes that this collaboration can provide access for Indonesian students and researchers to study the latest technological advancements possessed by Russia.
In addition to general technology, this cooperation also targets the energy sector, including nuclear technology. Sultan Najamudin believes that mastering technology in this sector is crucial for Indonesia to support energy independence and future industrial innovation.
Through this initiative, it is hoped that more scholarship programs and research collaborations between universities in Indonesia and Russia will be created. The government is optimistic that this cultural and scientific exchange will have a positive impact on the development of the higher education sector in the country.
As a next step, the DPD RI will continue to communicate with relevant parties to ensure that this cooperation plan proceeds well. It is hoped that this synergy can open new opportunities for the young generation of Indonesia to compete at the global level.
