Welcoming Indonesia's Independence Day, 70 Students Officially Inaugurated as Bandung City Paskibraka Members
The Bandung City Government has officially inaugurated 70 selected students as members of the 2024 Pasukan Pengibar Bendera Pusaka (Paskibraka). This inauguration ceremony took place solemnly in preparation for welcoming the 79th Independence Day anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia on August 17th.
The selected students have gone through a series of rigorous selection processes from various schools across the Bandung City area. They were assessed based on their discipline, physical health, and proficient marching skills to carry out this important state duty.
During the training period, the Paskibraka members received intensive guidance from professional coaches as well as members of the TNI (Indonesian National Armed Forces) and Polri (Indonesian National Police). The main focus of the training was not only on flag-raising techniques but also on character building, teamwork, and a high sense of nationalism.
The Acting Mayor of Bandung expressed his high appreciation to the students and the parents who have provided their support. He hopes that the Paskibraka members can carry out their duties with full responsibility and become role models for other young generations in Bandung City.
With the completion of this inauguration process, the Paskibraka members will continue to undergo routine training until the day of the ceremony. The entire community of Bandung City is expected to provide support and prayers so that the process of raising the Red and White flag on Independence Day runs smoothly and successfully.
