Number of Crypto Asset Users in Indonesia Continues to Rise Rapidly
The Financial Services Authority (OJK) has reported significant developments in the digital economy in Indonesia. As of July 2026, the number of consumer accounts investing in crypto assets has reached 22.93 million.
This figure indicates that the Indonesian public's interest in digital assets is growing. Many citizens now view crypto as part of modern investment instruments amidst the rapid advancement of financial technology, or fintech.
The Indonesian Blockchain Association (ABI) stated that crypto assets now play an increasingly strategic role in the national digital economy ecosystem. This increase in the number of users reflects public adaptation to financial innovations based on blockchain technology.
