The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Improving Healthcare in Indonesia
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology is now beginning to be applied in the medical world in Indonesia. The use of this technology aims to assist healthcare workers in providing more efficient services and reaching more patients every day.
One of the main benefits of AI is its ability to accelerate the disease diagnosis process. With the help of advanced algorithms, doctors can analyze patient health data more quickly and accurately. This is very helpful in areas that have a limited number of medical personnel but have many patients who require immediate treatment.
However, the implementation of this technology still faces several obstacles in the field. The biggest challenge currently being faced is the lack of training for healthcare workers. Many doctors and nurses do not yet have sufficient technical skills to operate these AI-based systems optimally.
In addition to training issues, digital infrastructure that is not yet evenly distributed across all regions of Indonesia is also an obstacle. To maximize the potential of AI, support for a stable internet network and adequate hardware in various health facilities is needed, especially in remote areas.
Overall, the integration of AI in the Indonesian healthcare sector has enormous potential for the future. If training and infrastructure obstacles can be overcome, this technology is expected to be able to improve the quality of healthcare nationally and provide better access to treatment for the entire community.
