Majalengka Becomes a Pioneer in Disability Sports Facilitator Training in Indonesia
Majalengka Regency, West Java, has made new history in the national sports scene. This region has become the first in Indonesia to host a Training of Trainers (TOT) for sports facilitators specifically for people with disabilities. This step was taken as a concrete effort to increase inclusivity in the field of sports at the regional level.
This training activity aims to equip coaches and sports facilitators with specialized skills. They are taught how to guide athletes with disabilities so they can train safely and effectively. With competent coaches in place, it is hoped that the hidden talents of athletes with disabilities can be discovered and developed to their full potential.
