Indonesian Red Cross Prepares Humanitarian Aid for NTT Residents
The Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of DKI Jakarta Province is currently preparing to send humanitarian aid to the people in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). This step was taken as a rapid response to assist residents who are in need of logistical support in the region.
The aid being prepared includes various basic daily necessities. Some of the items to be sent include personal hygiene kits, baby supplies, and family kits. In addition, PMI is also providing mattresses and tarpaulins to support the comfort of residents in evacuation sites.
The preparation process for this aid is being carried out meticulously in Jakarta before it is later distributed directly to NTT. PMI ensures that all items sent meet emergency requirement standards so that they can be used immediately by the affected communities.
This activity is part of PMI's commitment to providing humanitarian assistance in various regions of Indonesia experiencing emergency conditions. It is hoped that this aid can lighten the burden on the people of NTT and help meet their basic needs during the recovery period.
