Warung Pangan Opens at Tebet Timur Market, Providing Affordable Basic Necessities
The government continues to strive to maintain the stability of prices for basic necessities for the public. One of the latest steps is the opening of a 'Warung Pangan' outlet located at Tebet Timur Market, South Jakarta.
This Warung Pangan serves as a solution for residents looking for basic goods at more affordable prices. Various types of daily necessities are available at this outlet, ranging from rice, granulated sugar, and cooking oil to wheat flour.
In addition to staple food items, Warung Pangan also provides other products such as bottled mineral water. The presence of this outlet is expected to help ease the burden of household expenses for the public amidst market price fluctuations.
This program is part of the government's efforts to ensure the availability of food supplies at stable prices. With the existence of Warung Pangan, the public has an alternative, more economical shopping venue to meet their daily kitchen needs.
Moving forward, it is hoped that initiatives like this can continue to be expanded to various other traditional markets in Indonesia. This step is one of the important strategies in maintaining public purchasing power and suppressing the rate of inflation at the level of basic necessities.
