Meta and the Ministry of Trade Launch Digital Training Program for 150 Indonesian MSMEs
Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, has officially collaborated with the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia to support local entrepreneurs. This collaboration is marked by the launch of a program called the "Small Business Growth Academy." The program is specifically designed to help micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia grow more rapidly in the digital era.
A total of 150 selected MSME owners from various regions in Indonesia will participate in intensive training within this program. Participants will learn how to maximize the use of digital platforms to expand their market reach. Additionally, they will receive direct guidance on effective marketing strategies so that local products can compete with international brands.
The Ministry of Trade welcomes this initiative as it aligns with the government's target to digitalize millions of MSMEs across the country. With technological support from Meta, the government hopes that small business owners can improve the quality of their promotions. This is considered crucial for strengthening the creative economy and accelerating national economic recovery.
During the training, participants will be taught how to create engaging visual content and how to use digital advertising features effectively. The main focus of this program is to provide practical skills that can be directly applied to daily business operations. This way, small business owners will no longer find it difficult to interact with customers in the digital world.
