Indonesia and China Partnership to Support ASEAN Stability
The Indonesian government continues to strengthen cooperative relations with China across various strategic fields. This partnership is viewed as an important step to maintain stability in the Southeast Asian region and support ASEAN's central role in maintaining world peace.
In Indonesia's view, good relations with China can be a major opportunity to create a more inclusive regional environment. This cooperation is expected to strengthen communication between countries in Southeast Asia to keep the region safe and avoid conflicts that are detrimental to economic and political stability.
In addition to focusing on security aspects, this partnership also includes efforts to enhance economic cooperation and infrastructure development. Indonesia believes that with strong collaboration, countries in this region can grow together more equitably and sustainably.
Looking ahead, Indonesia is committed to continuing to promote open dialogue through ASEAN forums. This step aims to ensure that all member countries can work together with international partners, including China, to achieve the shared goal of a peaceful and prosperous region for all people.
