Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Airlangga Hartarto, conducted a working visit to Shanghai, China, to strengthen cooperation in the field of technology. During the visit, Airlangga held meetings with representatives from global technology companies, ByteDance and Huawei.
The main focus of these meetings was Indonesia's effort to secure technology transfers, particularly in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The Indonesian government hopes that this cooperation will accelerate domestic digitalization and enhance the capabilities of local human resources in mastering future technologies.
In addition to discussing technology transfers, these meetings also served as a strategic step for Indonesia to attract investment in the digital economy sector. Through collaboration with world-class technology companies, it is hoped that Indonesia will be better prepared to face the challenges of Industry 4.0.
Moving forward, the government will continue to monitor the progress resulting from these meetings to ensure their benefits for the Indonesian people. It is hoped that this cooperation will not be limited to investment alone, but will also provide a tangible impact on the advancement of technological innovation in the country.
