Air Quality in Central Kalimantan Becomes the Worst in Indonesia
Central Kalimantan was recorded as having the worst air quality in Indonesia on Tuesday morning, August 18, 2026. Based on the Air Pollution Standard Index (ISPU) data at 08:00 WIB, the region recorded a figure of 258, which indicates an unhealthy level of air pollution for the public.
In addition to Central Kalimantan, Jambi province was also included in the list of regions with concerning air quality. Data from Databoks shows that there were ten provinces in Indonesia experiencing a significant decline in air quality at the same time.
