Telkom Indonesia Strengthens Digital Infrastructure to Support AI Technology
PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk is currently accelerating the development of digital infrastructure in the country. This step is being taken to support the increasingly rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in Indonesia.
The main focus of this development is the construction of more modern data centers. In addition, Telkom is also increasing the capacity of internet network connectivity in various strategic regions so that data access becomes faster and more stable.
This construction project is prioritized in two main locations, namely Jakarta and Batam. The selection of these two cities is based on the need for robust infrastructure to support AI computing, which requires immense data processing power.
With adequate infrastructure in place, it is hoped that companies in Indonesia will be able to more easily adopt AI technology in their operations. This is also part of Telkom's effort to strengthen Indonesia's position on the digital economy map in the Southeast Asia region.
