UAI Biology Students Study Biotechnology Innovation at PT Etana Biotechnology
Biology students from Universitas Al-Azhar Indonesia (UAI) recently conducted an industrial visit to PT Etana Biotechnology Indonesia. This activity aimed to provide students with practical insights into the application of biotechnology in the real pharmaceutical world.
During the visit, the students had the opportunity to listen to an in-depth presentation regarding the company's profile. PT Etana explained the history of the company's establishment as well as their vision and mission in developing biotechnology-based health products in Indonesia.
In addition to the theoretical session, this visit also served as a means for students to see firsthand how advanced technology is used in the drug production process. This is highly relevant to the course material they study in class, especially regarding the development of biological products that require high quality standards.
This activity is expected to improve students' understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the national pharmaceutical industry. By observing the work processes in the field directly, students are expected to be better prepared to enter the workforce after graduation.
