UNNES Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Launches ATM-Based Student ID Cards
The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) has just launched a new program for the class of 2026. The faculty has officially distributed Student ID Cards (KTM) with a co-branding system to all new students for this academic year.
The student ID cards distributed this time serve a dual purpose through a partnership with Bank Tabungan Negara (BTN). The card functions not only as an official student identity within the campus environment but can also be used as an ATM card for various banking transactions.
This step was taken by the university to facilitate easier access to financial services for students. With this integration, students are expected to more easily pay tuition fees, receive scholarships, or carry out other financial transactions in a practical manner.
The card distribution process is being carried out in stages to all new FISIP students. The university hopes that this new facility will support the smooth administration of students throughout their studies at UNNES.
The use of banking technology in student identity cards is the university's effort to keep pace with modern developments. It is hoped that this innovation will provide tangible benefits for the efficiency of academic activities and the daily lives of students within the campus environment.
