Indonesia Sends 140 Police Personnel for UN Peacekeeping Mission
Indonesia has once again demonstrated its commitment to maintaining global security by sending 140 police personnel to join a United Nations (UN) peacekeeping mission. This deployment is part of Indonesia's active contribution to supporting stability in international conflict regions.
The 140 personnel consist of 114 male police officers and 26 female police officers. They were selected through a rigorous process to ensure their physical and mental readiness for duty abroad.
These personnel will be stationed in Bangui, the capital of the Central African Republic. They are scheduled to serve there for 12 months to help maintain order and provide protection for the local community.
The participation of female police officers in this mission is also a significant highlight. It reflects Indonesia's efforts to support the role of women in global peacekeeping operations conducted by the UN.
With this deployment, Indonesia hopes to make a tangible contribution to world peace. All personnel are expected to carry out their duties professionally and uphold the nation's reputation throughout their deployment.
