A proud achievement has once again been recorded by Indonesian athletes at the 2026 Asian Games. The Indonesian badminton team successfully brought home the gold medal after going through a very fierce match in the final round.
Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Puan Maharani, expressed her pride in the athletes' achievement. According to her, this success is the result of the hard work and high dedication demonstrated by all team members during the training period.
This victory is expected to serve as motivation for athletes from other sports to keep fighting. Puan hopes that this gold medal will pave the way for Indonesia to win more medals in the remaining series of matches at this year's Asian Games.
Support from the Indonesian public is also considered very important in providing encouragement to the athletes competing abroad. This success proves that Indonesian athletes are capable of competing and excelling at the international level.
The Indonesian government remains committed to providing the best facilities and support for the athletes. It is hoped that this achievement in badminton can be maintained and improved upon in other prestigious sporting events in the future.
