Four Innovative Indonesian Technologies Recognized Globally
Indonesia is now increasingly recognized on the international stage thanks to various technological innovations created by its own people. Some of these technologies are not only used domestically but have also been adopted by various other countries due to their quality and highly effective functionality.
One of the most famous innovations is the Sosrobahu technique. This technology is used to build overpasses by rotating the support pillars, ensuring that traffic flow underneath is not disrupted. This technique has been used in various major construction projects abroad, including in the Philippines and Malaysia.
In addition, Indonesia's aerospace industry has also achieved success through the CN235 aircraft. Designed by PT Dirgantara Indonesia, this aircraft has been exported to various countries for both military and civil transport needs. The reliability of this aircraft is recognized for its ability to land on short and uneven runways.
In the field of early warning systems, Indonesia has successfully developed InaTEWS (Indonesia Tsunami Early Warning System). This technology has become an important standard in detecting tsunami threats in disaster-prone areas. Furthermore, the QRIS digital payment system is now also being studied and adapted by several neighboring countries in Southeast Asia to facilitate financial transactions.
The success of these technologies shows that Indonesia has great potential in creating innovative solutions that are globally relevant. This international recognition is expected to motivate local technology developers to continue creating and making the nation proud in the future.
