Lampung Provincial Government Develops Padel Sport to Boost Tourism and Economy
The Lampung Provincial Government is currently striving to advance the tourism sector through the development of sports. One strategic step taken is promoting padel as a new attraction for both local and international tourists.
Padel, a sport that combines elements of tennis and squash, is currently gaining popularity among many people. The local government sees great potential in this trend to serve as a key driver for the concept of sports tourism in the Lampung region.
In addition to improving public fitness, the development of padel sports facilities is expected to attract more visitors to the area. With an increasing number of tourists arriving to participate in sports, the local economy, including hospitality, culinary, and MSME sectors, is expected to experience positive impacts.
The Lampung Provincial Government is committed to continuously supporting a healthy lifestyle through various sports activities. This initiative is part of the government's long-term plan to leverage the potential of sports as an engine for sustainable regional economic growth.
