UPI Research Team Develops VR Technology for Migrant Mental Health
Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) has just introduced its latest innovation in the field of mental health. A research team from the university has developed a mental health assessment system that utilizes Virtual Reality (VR) technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
This technology is specifically designed to assist migrants who often face psychological pressure during the migration process or while adapting to a new environment. By using VR, users can enter a safe and controlled simulated environment to help them express their feelings and mental state more comfortably.
In addition to VR, the integration of AI technology allows the system to analyze user responses more accurately and personally. The data collected through these simulations will later assist healthcare professionals in providing more precise treatment for individuals in need of psychological support.
