Government Sends Additional 25 Tons of Aid for Earthquake Victims in NTT
The Indonesian government has once again distributed humanitarian aid to communities affected by the earthquake in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). This time, 25 tons of additional aid have been sent to ensure that the basic needs of refugees continue to be met at the disaster site.
The aid sent includes various urgent basic necessities. Among these are ready-to-eat meals, drinking water, and staple food items. In addition, the government has also sent supplies of medicine and medical equipment to support healthcare services for residents who are injured or in need of treatment.
Beyond food and medical aid, the government is also providing other supporting equipment. This includes tents for temporary shelter as well as clean water facilities. The provision of these facilities aims to ensure that refugees can live more decently during the post-disaster recovery period.
This step is part of the government's efforts to accelerate the handling of the earthquake's impact in the region. The distribution of aid is being carried out in a coordinated manner so that goods can reach the most needy evacuation points immediately.
It is hoped that this assistance can lighten the burden on the people of NTT who are facing difficult times. The government continues to monitor the situation on the ground to determine the next steps in the recovery process for the earthquake-affected areas.
