The 35th Nahdlatul Ulama Congress to be Held in East Java
Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), the largest Islamic organization in Indonesia, is preparing to hold its major agenda. The 35th NU Congress is scheduled to take place from August 27 to 30, 2026.
This event will be centered at the Tambakberas Islamic Boarding School, located in the East Java region. The selection of this location is expected to support the smooth running of the entire four-day series of events.
The congress is the highest forum within the NU organization, held periodically. In addition to serving as a gathering for members, this meeting is an important moment to discuss various strategic policies for the organization's future.
One of the main agendas of this congress is the election of new leadership for the next period. Many parties hope that this forum will be able to produce the best leaders who can bring progress to the organization and provide positive contributions to the wider community in Indonesia.
The entire series of preparations is currently being carried out by the organizing committee. The public and NU members throughout Indonesia are expected to follow updates regarding the implementation of this congress through official channels.
