Commemorating Indonesian Doctors' Service Day, Payakumbuh Hosts Youth Health Adventure Carnival
In commemoration of Indonesian Doctors' Service Day (HBDI) in 2026, the city of Payakumbuh organized an event titled the Payakumbuh Youth Health Adventure Carnival. The event took place festively on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at GOR Nan Ompek, Tanjung Pauh.
This event was designed as a platform for health education for the younger generation in the region. Through a creative and fun approach, the organizers hope to increase public awareness, especially among teenagers, regarding the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle from an early age.
This activity involved the active participation of local medical personnel who were part of the HBDI celebration series. In addition to providing basic health screenings, the doctors also shared information on disease prevention and the importance of maintaining physical fitness amidst the busyness of daily activities.
The enthusiasm of the residents was quite high during the event at GOR Nan Ompek. The presence of various activities in this carnival is expected to strengthen the relationship between medical personnel and the community, as well as create a sustainable culture of healthy living in Payakumbuh.
