Government to Train Starlink Internet Voucher Sellers to Become Official Resellers
Minister of Communication and Digital (Menkomdigi) Meutya Hafid is paying special attention to Yogi Gilang, a citizen who previously sold Starlink internet vouchers independently. The government plans to train Yogi so that he can operate his business officially as a reseller or authorized distributor of the internet service.
This step is taken as a form of government support for community innovation in expanding internet access in hard-to-reach areas. By becoming an official reseller, it is hoped that the quality of the internet service provided will be more guaranteed and in accordance with the legal regulations applicable in Indonesia.
The Minister emphasized the importance of collaboration between the government and the community in improving digital literacy and access. Through this training, Yogi will receive guidance on proper operational procedures and telecommunications regulations that must be adhered to so that his services remain safe for users.
This training program is expected to serve as an example for other members of the community who wish to contribute to the equitable distribution of internet access in the country. The government is committed to continuing to support initiatives that can help the public obtain better and more affordable internet connections throughout all regions of Indonesia.
