Garuda Indonesia Completes 1447 H Hajj Flight Operations with High On-Time Performance
The national flag carrier, Garuda Indonesia, has officially completed its entire series of Hajj flight operations for the 1447 H/2026 season. This operation encompassed the transportation of Hajj pilgrims from various embarkation points in Indonesia to the Holy Land, as well as the return process back to the country.
In its operational report, Garuda Indonesia recorded an on-time performance (OTP) rate reaching 94.3 percent. This figure demonstrates the airline's commitment to maintaining flight schedules in accordance with the plans established for the pilgrims.
This success is the result of intensive coordination between the airline and various relevant stakeholders, including the Ministry of Religious Affairs and aviation authorities. Thorough preparation well in advance was the key factor in ensuring the smooth mobility of Hajj pilgrims during this period.
In addition to the aspect of punctuality, the airline also endeavored to provide the best service for the pilgrims, especially for the elderly. This was done to ensure comfort and safety during the relatively long air travel.
With the completion of this entire series of Hajj flights, Garuda Indonesia has stated its readiness to refocus on regular flight services. The airline hopes that this achievement can be consistently maintained to enhance public trust in national aviation services.
