PT IPCC Enhances Occupational Safety for Stevedoring Workers
PT Indonesia Kendaraan Terminal Tbk (IPCC) has just organized Occupational Health and Safety (K3) certification training for stevedoring workers (TKBM). This activity aims to improve safety standards in the port environment, which carries a relatively high risk of work-related accidents.
In this training, workers were provided with an in-depth understanding of safety procedures when handling goods at the terminal. The main focus of the program is to ensure that every worker understands how to prevent workplace accidents and handle emergency situations appropriately in the field.
In addition to providing theory, the training also emphasized the importance of a safety culture as part of the company's responsibility. With this certification, it is hoped that workers will possess better competence in protecting themselves and their colleagues while working in the port area.
This step taken by PT IPCC is a form of the company's commitment to creating a safe and professional work environment. Improving the quality of human resources through K3 training is expected to support the smooth operation of logistics in Indonesia in a sustainable manner.
