Indonesian Students Prepare for the IMSO-2026 International Mathematics and Science Competition
Indonesia is once again sending its best representatives to compete in the 23rd International Mathematics and Science Olympiad (IMSO), which will be held in 2026. This competition serves as a prestigious platform for elementary school students from various countries to showcase their abilities in the fields of mathematics and natural sciences.
One of the students who will represent Indonesia is Aiden. To qualify and be selected as a participant, he had to go through a very rigorous selection process. This process was not conducted just once, but through three important stages that tested the academic abilities and mental readiness of the prospective participants.
The selection stages began with an online selection, followed by an offline or face-to-face selection. In addition to taking written tests, the students were also required to participate in a series of intensive training sessions and problem simulations. This was done to ensure that every Indonesian representative had thorough preparation before facing the competition at the international level.
The participation of Indonesian students in IMSO-23 is expected to motivate other young generations to develop a greater love for science and mathematics. Furthermore, this event serves as an opportunity for students to gain experience and build friendships with peers from various countries around the world.
Currently, preparations are being carried out with discipline by the selected students. Support from schools, parents, and the government is crucial so that the Indonesian representatives can achieve maximum results and bring honor to the nation on the world stage in 2026.
