Wahdah Islamiyah Holds 'Salam Sehat Indonesia' Event in Makassar
The social organization Wahdah Islamiyah organized an event titled "Salam Sehat Indonesia" (Healthy Greetings Indonesia) at the Al-Markaz Al-Islami Mosque, Makassar. The activity took place over two days, from Saturday to Sunday, July 18–19, 2026.
This event aimed to increase public awareness regarding the importance of a healthy lifestyle. Through this activity, Wahdah Islamiyah wanted to encourage the residents of Makassar to be more mindful of their bodily health and physical fitness.
As part of the event series, the committee provided various free health services for visitors. In addition to health check-ups, there was also a "fun walk" designed specifically for all family members to participate in.
This activity was expected to strengthen the bonds of friendship among residents while providing tangible benefits for the health of the local community. The enthusiasm of the residents was quite high in welcoming the series of events held at one of the iconic mosques in Makassar.
