UNNES Students Depart to Teach at Sekolah Indonesia Johor Bahru

Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) has just sent off a number of students from the Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) study program to participate in the International Lantip program. These students will serve as educators at Sekolah Indonesia Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

The International Lantip program is an important initiative designed to equip prospective teachers with teaching experience abroad. Through this activity, students are expected to enhance their professional competence and broaden their perspectives in the global education landscape.

While in Johor Bahru, the students will interact directly with a school environment that differs from the one back home. They will put the knowledge they gained during their studies into practice to assist in the teaching and learning process for the children of Indonesian citizens living in Malaysia.

This experience is not only beneficial for developing teaching skills, but it also serves as an opportunity for students to build an international network. UNNES hopes that the participants will become educational ambassadors who bring a positive impact to the host school.

This activity is part of the university's efforts to produce high-quality educators who are ready to compete at the international level. It is hoped that this program will continue in the future to provide equal opportunities for other students.
