Taiwan Seeks to Strengthen Technology Cooperation with Indonesia
The Taiwan government, through the International Cooperation and Development Fund (ICDF), has expressed its desire to strengthen cooperation in the technology sector with Indonesia. This step is being taken as an effort to support the advancement of digital and manufacturing industries in both countries.
The main focus of this cooperation is the development of the artificial intelligence (AI) sector. Taiwan, known as one of the global leaders in technological innovation, wants to share its expertise and experience in integrating AI into various industrial sectors in Indonesia.
In addition to AI, the semiconductor sector is also a priority in this collaboration plan. Semiconductors are essential components in the manufacturing of modern electronic devices, ranging from smartphones to household appliances. Through this cooperation, Indonesia is expected to increase its production capacity and innovation within the domestic technology industry.
This cooperation is expected to have a positive impact on digital economic growth in Indonesia. Through knowledge transfer and technology investment from Taiwan, Indonesia can accelerate the digital transformation process currently being promoted by the government.
As an initial step, both parties will continue to hold discussions to determine concrete programs to be implemented. This cooperation is expected not only to benefit the industrial sector but also to open new opportunities for skilled workers in the field of technology in Indonesia.
