Indonesian Women's Football Continues to Show Positive Development
The Chairman of the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI), Erick Thohir, stated that women's football in Indonesia is currently experiencing significant development. This statement was delivered as a form of appreciation for the efforts of various parties in advancing the sport for female athletes in the country.
Erick Thohir explained that PSSI is committed to providing full support for the development of women's football. This is being done through improving the quality of competitions and providing better training facilities. The main focus at present is to create a supportive ecosystem so that young players can develop professionally.
In addition to infrastructure, PSSI has also begun to increase the number of international match agendas for the women's national team. This step aims to increase the players' match experience so that they are better prepared to face challenges at higher levels, both regionally and globally.
This development is expected to attract more young Indonesian women to enter the world of football. With consistent support, it is hoped that Indonesian women's football can achieve proud accomplishments in the future and become a new force in the Asian region.
