Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta Provides Health Education for Indonesian Citizens in Japan

Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) has just established a partnership with the Special Branch of Muhammadiyah (PCIM) in Japan. This collaboration aims to provide integrated health education for Indonesian citizens currently residing in Japan.

This program targets two main groups: Indonesian students pursuing their education and Indonesian migrant workers there. This activity is considered important because expatriates often face different health challenges while living abroad.

During the event, the team from UMS provided various information on how to maintain physical and mental health while in Japan. This education covers healthy lifestyle habits, disease prevention, and how to access the healthcare services available in the country.

Through this partnership, it is hoped that Indonesian students and workers will be more attentive to their health conditions. Furthermore, this activity also strengthens the relationship between Indonesian educational institutions and the diaspora community in Japan.

This step is a form of UMS's concern for the well-being of Indonesian citizens abroad. It is hoped that health education programs like this can continue in the future to support the productivity and comfort of Indonesian citizens living in Japan.
