Indonesian Christian Intellectuals Association Holds Health Sovereignty Seminar in Bandung
The Indonesian Christian Intellectuals Association (PIKI) has just held a National Seminar on Health Sovereignty in Bandung. This event aimed to discuss various challenges and find concrete solutions to strengthen the national health system in Indonesia.
During the seminar, experts and participants discussed the importance of national self-reliance in providing healthcare services. The main focus of the discussion included equitable accessibility of medical services for all people, as well as improving the quality of health facilities in various regions.
In addition, the speakers also highlighted the importance of innovation in the medical world. Health sovereignty is considered an important pillar so that Indonesia does not depend on health products from abroad, especially regarding the availability of essential medicines and medical equipment.
This seminar is expected to contribute ideas to the government in formulating better health policies. Through collaboration between intellectuals and stakeholders, it is hoped that the target of national health sovereignty can be achieved soon.
