Fatal shooting in Dublin & heatwave forecast
A man has been shot dead in Dublin and three others died in road accidents as Gardaí investigate a separate death at a Cork pub. Residents should also prepare for a significant rise in temperatures later this week.
A man in his 40s was killed in a shooting in Dún Laoghaire, County Dublin, on Sunday morning. The incident took place at approximately 8:30 am at Patrician Park on Kill Avenue. Gardaí (Irish police) are currently investigating the scene.
In County Cork, authorities are looking into the death of a 27-year-old man following a disturbance at a pub in Riverstick on Saturday evening. The man reportedly became unresponsive while being restrained and was later pronounced dead.
This follows a series of fatal road incidents on Saturday, where three men died in separate crashes across counties Donegal, Cork, and Kildare.
